Privacy Policy

NetSold ("the extension", "we") is a Chrome extension for tracking profit and tax-relevant information on your own Vinted sales. This page explains what data the extension handles and why.
The short version
All of your sales data stays on your own device. There is no NetSold server. We cannot see your sales, your profit, or anything you type into the extension. The only third party involved is our payment processor, and only if you choose to buy NetSold Pro.
What data the extension stores
NetSold stores the following in your browser's local storage
(chrome.storage.local), on your device only:
- Sale details you enter manually, or that are captured automatically from your own Vinted "Sold" page: item title, price, date, and any costs or notes you add.
- Your settings (e.g. default packaging cost, whether you're on the free or Pro plan).
None of this is transmitted to us or to any server we operate. If you uninstall the extension or clear your browser's site data, it is permanently deleted.
What the extension reads on Vinted
NetSold's permissions are limited to vinted.co.uk. It only
reads pages you have open yourself — specifically your own "Sold" orders
page — to detect completed sales. It never visits other sellers' pages,
never browses while you're logged out, and never takes any action on
your behalf (no listing, messaging, bumping, or automation of any kind).
Payments (NetSold Pro only)
If you choose to upgrade to NetSold Pro, payment is handled entirely by ExtensionPay, which uses Stripe to process the payment. We never see or store your card details. ExtensionPay shares with us only whether you have an active paid plan, so the extension can unlock Pro features — no sales data is ever part of that exchange. Analytics and tracking
NetSold does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies of any kind. We have no way of knowing how many people use the extension beyond what the Chrome Web Store itself reports to us in aggregate.
Children's privacy
NetSold is not directed at children and is not knowingly used by them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be reflected in the extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
